Ayurvedic yoga massage
Restore body and soul
Ayurvedic yoga massage is an ancient therapy that combines two of India’s greatest wisdoms: Ayurveda (the science of life) and yoga. This holistic approach aims not only to relieve physical tension, but also to restore the body’s energy balance and activate its natural self-healing processes.
According to Ayurveda, health depends on the harmony of mind, body and spirit. Massage is an integral part of Ayurvedic therapy, as it helps to cleanse the energy channels — the nadis.
How does the therapy work?
The session, which lasts from 60 to 90 minutes, is fully customized to your individual needs. The procedure combines deep and powerful muscle massage, passive yoga stretches and breathing exercises. This unique massage uses calamus root (Vacha) powder and warm sesame oil. Calamus is known for its cleansing properties, which help to eliminate toxins, while sesame oil penetrates deep into the tissues, moisturizing the skin and enhancing the therapeutic effect of the massage. The specific movements and acupressure points used during the session help to:
Cleansing the body:
Calamus powder opens the skin pores and improves the functioning of the lymphatic system, which provides effective detoxification.
Muscle relaxation: Warm sesame oil and massage techniques relieve deep muscle tension and reduce pain.
Energy activation: Yoga stretches and massage together restore the body's energy flows and strengthen vital forces. Benefits and recommendations This therapy is especially effective in cases of chronic stress, anxiety, insomnia and lack of energy. Deep relaxation calms the nervous system, and muscle and joint pain is significantly reduced thanks to passive yoga stretches.
My passion for Ayurveda began long before it became a profession. I first visited India in 1993, which laid the foundation for my deep interest in this ancient wisdom. I began studying Ayurvedic massage in 2000 in Pune, India. I was lucky enough to study with Kusum, a student of the founder of Ayurvedic Yoga. This unique training gave me not only technical skills, but also a deep understanding of Ayurvedic philosophy. After this authentic knowledge gained in India, my path led me to Germany, where I simply continued my practice. My work is to combine the spiritual journey that began in 1993 with the knowledge gained in 2000. This allows me to promote the health and harmony of my clients.
