Therapeutic yoga for children and adolescents with special needs

Individual therapeutic yoga sessions at Lumos for three categories of children and adolescents:


For individuals with special needs, autism spectrum disorders, Down syndrome, and ADHD.


Individual sessions will be led by certified social therapist, Salome Sarajishvili. Salome also has an international yoga certificate and 5 years of experience as an instructor. A few years ago, Salome combined these two professions and created a unique program for children, including those with special needs.


Individual session cost: 80 GEL Duration: 1 hour


The program includes classic yoga asanas, breathing exercises, various mind-blowing games, and meditation techniques, which help children and adolescents develop fine and gross motor skills, improve concentration, and establish a strong connection with their own body, mind, and emotions.


Therapeutic yoga is beneficial in many ways for individuals with special needs, as it helps harmonize the body and mind and is tailored to individual needs.
