A morning and evening choir of singers has been formed within the circle of Lumos friends, who have decided to expand and invite new members to join us on an amazing musical journey - into the world of choral music, where we will work together on voice, hearing, and musical self-expression.

The lessons will be held in two groups:

The choir brings together those who want to discover their own voice, experience the joy of group singing, and the power of unity through music.

The Lumos singing group will work systematically and participate in holistic festivals, musical evenings, retreats, hikes, and celebrations.

Our goal is to create a collaborative, joyful, and harmonious space where we will musically unite in a friendly circle and together turn this experience into a spiritual celebration - raising emotional and creative vibrations and bringing light and joy into our everyday lives through harmonious music.

⚛︎ The choir's rehearsals will be led by musician and choir conductor Tamo Nasidze, who returned to Georgia after several years of living abroad and continues his work in his homeland with new initiatives and inspiration. The specifics and approaches of Tamo's work are based on his diverse interests, which include Western, European and Georgian choral musical experience on the one hand, and Eastern yoga-meditation practices on the other.

Our team meetings include: ❣︎

• Physical warm-up and breathing exercises;

• Sound production and voice development practices;

• Developing listening and singing skills in a choir;

• Development of harmonic and polyphonic hearing;

• Studying choral works of various genres.

To join the team, a little musical experience or basic musical knowledge is desirable, and, of course, a great desire to become a member of the harmonious Lumos family. Participants are selected based on an individual interview and light listening.
