🪉 On Tuesday, July 14, at 6:00 PM, we invite you to a sound therapy session at Saaze Lumos, led by meditation and personal development teacher, musician, and sound-vibrational therapy facilitator, Nelly Agirba.

Take time for yourself to relax, recharge your nervous system, find peace and reminisce.

The session will begin with a meditation tea ceremony of South American and Far Eastern herbs for physiological preparation and centering of attention.

Why is sound-vibration therapy useful?

Sound therapy works through vibration, frequencies, and resonance.

Studies show that deep resonance experiences help shift brain waves from the active beta state to the calmer alpha, theta, or delta states associated with meditation, deep relaxation, access, and recovery.

Sound also helps balance the autonomic nervous system and activates the parasympathetic - rest-and-recovery - state. Sound vibrations physically penetrate tissues, muscles and bones, which helps to relax, improve blood circulation and release accumulated tension.

Studies have shown that such practices reduce cortisol (the stress hormone) levels and activate the production of nitric oxide, which helps dilate blood vessels and relax the body.
