Systematic layout and psychodrama
Moksha Peykar
June 20; 11:00-17:00;
Lumos invites you to a unique synthesis workshop of Systemic Alignment and Virginia Satir's psychodrama method, "Party of Parts," led by Systemic Alignment facilitator, Moksha Peykar.
What can you expect during the workshop?
There are many different parts of us: one strives to advance, another protects us, a third controls, a fourth rages, a fifth seeks love, and a sixth seeks freedom.
Virginia Satir's "Party of Parts" is a method of working with play, movement, and psychodrama that helps us see, understand, and integrate these inner parts.
How will the workshop be conducted?
During the workshop, each participant selects several internal parts - both those that are attractive to them and those that are less desirable. Each part is given its own name, feature, phrase, gesture, and manner of movement.
It is important to name the parts after famous people, mythical creatures, or fairy tale characters.
Names - for example, those of actors, writers, historical figures or archetypal heroes.
We don't choose people who know us personally: family members, friends, colleagues, or relatives.
This makes the process safer, more symbolic, and more freeing.
The band members bring these parts to life as "party guests."
In the workshop, we will work with the inner parts that have the strongest impact on our current lives today. This can be determined by asking questions such as:
Which part of you makes decisions?
What part is stopping you from moving forward?
Which part requires attention?
Which part remained in childhood?
What part of you holds power but you are not yet fully aware of it?
What benefits will you get from participating in the workshop?
At the workshop, you will have the opportunity to see your inner parts, understand their messages, and begin to integrate them into a more whole, peaceful, and resourceful state.
What should you consider before the workshop?
You can bring small masquerade-style accessories with you: scarves, hats, masks, glasses, gloves, jewelry, capes, colorful fabrics, ribbons, feathers, or small symbolic items - a book, mirror, marao, stick, flower, crown, etc.
These accessories will help you express your inner self more vividly, which can be represented in the form of famous people, mythical creatures, fairy tale characters, or archetypal figures.
